This workshop kit combines two resources in one: a practical, ready-to-use toolkit for designing and delivering HIV stigma reduction workshops, and a set of concise learning modules covering HIV basics, stigma, and effective approaches to reducing it. Alongside downloadable resource documents, a video, and a knowledge quiz, the content can also be used as a quick reference to support real-time conversations in outreach, peer support, harm reduction, and other community settings.
Although this kit highlights the intersection of HIV stigma with the context of harm reduction services, people who use drugs, and BC smaller urban, rural & remote areas, the kit welcomes the larger PAN community to utilize it. The concepts surrounding HIV stigma and how to build a workshop can be translated to other segments of health equity and social justice.
